Billy Buck Coy, Jr., was a middle-of-the-road NASCAR driver who simply couldn’t win. Eventually, after a massive on-track altercation that endangered the lives of half the field, he was banned from racing for a year. He completely disappeared for a year, rumored to be a driver in several South American illegal “death races”.
When he returned to the United States, he had somehow gained super speed. Calling himself fuel, he still wears a racing helmet, but not longer needs four wheels to go fast. A showboat and publicity hound, he took part in several well-publicized, daring robberies.
